As President of Barlow Capital, Brad provides strategic direction and overall guidance through his role as the primary sponsor and promoter of the company’s strategic business plan.  He provides executive leadership and support, and as the company’s chief spokesperson is responsible for articulating the value and importance of the company’s strategic plan to both internal and external constituents.  Brad has also been a Director of Barlow since 2005 and is Chair of the firm's Investment Strategy Committee.

To his role with Barlow, Brad brings 18 years of experience in the investment industry and demonstrated business savvy in multiple areas of investment firm management.   Previously, Brad was President of Wellington West Asset Management, which he founded in 2004 and merged with Barlow Capital in 2005.  He has held the office of President at Barlow since that time. At WWAM, Brad was responsible for launching several successful investment programs and implementing firm wide investment policy.

Prior to this, Brad was Portfolio Strategist with RBC Global Investment Management and a member of that firm's US Equity Strategy Committee where he was responsible for the development and implementation of US Private Client Investment Strategy.  He also worked with the RBC Strategy Committee, a cross platform committee of senior firm professionals mandated with the development and execution of investment policy for over $100 billion dollars of assets under administration.

Brad's education background includes economics, finance, and history. Brad completed the Canadian Securities course in 1992. He is also a CIM (Certified Investment Manager) and FCSI (Fellow of the Canadian Securities Institute), the highest designation given in the Canadian securities industry.
