Kurt Brands was elected to the Board of Directors of Barlow Capital Management Inc. in August 2008.  His primary role on the board is to provide guidance and oversight to senior management with respect to the proactive identification and resolution of any operational issues or regulatory changes that may have the potential to impact the firm in the future. 

Kurt has served as Vice-President of C.A. Bancorp since the spring of 2007.

Kurt received his Masters of Business Administration degree from the Richard Ivey School of Business at the University of Western Ontario and his Bachelor of Commerce degree from Royal Roads University. In addition, he holds a CMA designation and is member of the Society of Management Accountants of Ontario.

Prior to joining C.A. Bancorp, Kurt was a Senior Consultant at Everest Group, a global outsourcing advisory firm. He was engaged in a variety of client assignments developing sourcing strategies for non-core business operations and negotiating commercial outsourcing agreements. Prior to that, Kurt worked in finance and corporate development at IBM.
